Mausoleums
A beautiful new burial option.
We are pleased to announce that construction is finished on a state-of-the-art community mausoleum at our Oxford cemetery. Construction will begin on the mausoleum at our Olive Branch cemetery by early next year.
Mausoleums are made up of burial crypts and are specifically designed for those who would prefer an above-ground burial. Our community mausoleums differ from private options in that anyone can reserve a crypt in the structure, not just one family. Families can, however, reserve crypts together within the community mausoleum.
For a limited time, we are waiving grave opening and closing fees for those who reserve a crypt, as well as providing free bronze nameplates and vases.
Constructed of granite imported from Italy, our mausoleums will feature an open-air chapel, columbarium niches for those who prefer cremation, and plenty of additional covered areas for comfortable visitation.
The mausoleums are being built by Ingram Construction, a group with nearly 50 years of experience in building these structures. Their team, a specialized group of landscape architects, architects, craftsmen and construction experts, has constructed over 350 mausoleums to date.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does a mausoleum differ from a traditional burial?
Mausoleums are structures built above ground, designed to be a final resting place for more than one individual. Those who choose this option are entombed in crypts.
Is this a more expensive option?
Contrary to popular belief, being laid to rest in a mausoleum is not always the most expensive burial option. In fact, choosing entombment means there is no need to purchase a burial vault, a monument, or pay for a grave opening and closing.
What is a community mausoleum?
Community mausoleums allow for anyone to be laid to rest within the structure, not just one family. Our community mausoleums are open to anyone who prefers this option as their final resting place.
Will construction prevent me from visiting a loved one?
At both cemeteries, we chose building locations specifically so that construction there would not disturb any existing gravesites or reserved cemetery plots. At Garden of Memories Oxford, the mausoleum is being built directly adjacent to the main cemetery office on the northwest corner of our property. The mausoleum at Autumn Woods Memorial Park is being built just beyond the entrance to our cemetery, in the large field on the righthand side of the main driveway.
